Sending Bulk Email

I have a client who has sent an email to 'all customers' but it seemed to be taking a long time and eventually came up with an error message (no info on that). Some of the emails have got through to the customers, is there anyway of seeing how many emails were sent so that we can see if we need to resend any of them?
