onic
Hello, I maintain a website which is based on oscommerce. In the site there are products the prices of which are in BGN.In pricelists from where I get the prices (manual, one by one) some of them are in USD others in EURO or BGN.In Oscommerce prices can be entered only in a same currency, but the rate of the USD is changing everyday (the rate of EURO is constant). So I need to know which products are in USD (to be changed from me only they). I want to change oscommerce that to show to me (not to the costumers) in which currency my deliver has provided to me the concrete product. Otherwise I have to refresh prices of all products evereday. The biggest problem is that I don`t know PHP, but I understand other languages (C++, Pascal). ♥geoffreywalton
Interesting problem. In osc you have to put in the prices in a single currency. Then by changing the conversion rates in Admin they will show the correct price in the "selling" currency. This does not address the problem of cost prices fluctuating due to currency conversion rate changes. I'd install EasyPopulate and create a file of just those products where you pay in dollars. Then update the price on the products in that file and upload it whenever the conversion rate changes. Bit labour intensive but I an sure it can be automated a bit more.
