Please: I really need a "Subscription Contribution&quot

Hello All,

 

I desperately need a way for oscommerce to require someone to "pay" to register to my site (to see/buy products I sell). Oscommerce has terrific features/contributions, except this one I need.

 

I've searched this forum and realize your main focus is selling "physical" goods, but please, Programmers, create a way for "paid registrations" soon.

 

I've tried some of the suggestions (like hiding the registration page, creating a "subscription" product etc...) but frankly, got "lost".

You could put into place a "registered users only" modification. This has been discussed many times and there are a lot of ways to do it.

 

Then you preload a product into the shopping basket if the person is a new account (and remove the update button), and direct them through the normal checkout procedure.

 

If it's an existing ID, then don't put the product n the shopping cart at all.

 

Cheap, easy way of doing it.

 

If you want someone to create a subscription module for you expect to pay $$$ if you want it done anytime soon...
