Install EP on new store Import file Or Use phpmyadmin, export all prod files, all manu files and all category files. Try to imort using phpmyadmin. GemRock Posted January 18, 2009 Share Posted January 18, 2009 it depends on your shop. but these tables are 'must-have': 1. products; 2. products_description; 3. categories; 4. categories_description; 5. products_to_categories. if you have manufacturers, then the two tables with manufacturers in the table names. if you use product attributes, then all the tables whose names contain products and attributes, or products and options. you use phpMyAdmin to do it. Ken thanks for your helpful replies i knaffed it i think as the new store was created on the same database name as the old store and I can't find the old product files in there anymore so assuming they have been erased to make room for new? I am quite new at this but learning quickly as I go. Before yesterday I never knew those DB existed!
