Google decides what it uses for the description. It will sometimes take it from the meta description tag, sometimes from the text on the page and sometimes a mixture of them. You can change the text in that tag and then duplicate it, or use something similar, on the page and the chances of it being used increases but that's all you can do. And how can i change the Website Title ? The one on the very top where the firefox window is. They don't exist unless a meta tags contribution has been installed and, if one has, the instructions for it will vary. So you need to either install one or determine which is installed and ask in the support thread for it. Jack_mcs Posted January 18, 2009 Share Posted January 18, 2009 If there's no control in the admin section for that under admin->Header Tags, then you have a very old version of the Header Tags Controller installed. That will handle the basic meta tags and titles for you but you would get better results by upgrading it to Header Tags SEO.
