Guest
Geoffrey, I am testing the Out of the BOX PayPal module and it seems to work BUT you have the expertise... Obviously, there is something not quite right there by your comment... SO, What Module do you suggest.... Will a replacement module also work in the PP sandbox for testing ? Thanks, Steve Perdido Beach, AL Do not use the paypal module that comes with osc as it doesnt always work as expected. Install one of the PP contributions. Guest
Hi, I have the same problem. Customer has placed order and according to osc admin payment has been made and the order pending. Payment hasn't gone to my paypal account though. Anybody any ideas what would have happened to the customer's payment? This is my first sale since setting up a few weeks ago. I tried placing an order myself and paying through paypal to check it was set up properly and payment was received in my paypal account so not sure why this one wasn't received. Much appreciated, Michelle
♥geoffreywalton
Steve If you use the pp module that comes with osc then the order details are not registered in osc until the customer pays with pay pay and "returns" to your site. If the go somewhere else or just stop their browser after paying, no order details are stored on your site. PP sand box should work with all pp contributions. Now that I have gone back and read the question I would recommend you install paypal ipn, then set up a sand box box account and test it that way G Need help installing add ons/contributions, cleaning a hacked site or a bespoke development, check my profile Virus Threat Scanner My Contributions Basic install answers.
