What's going on here?

Ok, here's what I did. I created a store, and started adding modules to it. I finally got it working the way I wanted, but noticed there were some issues.

 

So, I deleted the whole folder on the server, downloaded a fresh version of the osCommerce software, installed all my modules prior to uploading, used my existing configure.php file with the same database, and now I'm having some additional issues.

 

On the admin side, when I first get into the page, I see:

 

And if I try to work with the modules, I see:

 

If I click on the 'install' on the module side, nothing happens.

 

So, what have I done here? Something bad??? :( How can I fix this??

Your first problem is caused by your english.php file. I would have a guess you replaced this file with one from one of the modules which uses an older version of osCommerce.

 

To fix this you want to download osCommerce again and get the english.php file which is admin/includes/languages/english.php

 

The second problem is most likely caused by your payment folder being missing or not readable. Check in the following 2 locations:

includes/modules and look for the payment folder

includes/languages/english/modules and look for the payment folder

 

If they are both there make sure they are readable.
