wwwmrtoyboxcouk
Want to have a go at creating my own website rather than the cheapo one we have at present on mrsite. First step seems to be finding a good webshosting site (correct me if I'm wrong) Would really appreciate any suggestions / recomendations. Did try hostrocket a few years back but the server seemed to be down alot and we had alot of hacking attacks. Thanks Paul

Guest
I use www.vidahost.com They have got to be the best around, fantastic people and brilliant support! Amazing all round!! If you need any help please contact me :) I use www.midphase.com. I have a couple of clients that use them, as well. They support OSCOMMERCE so you can just install it from a panel, with a just a few commands. Their support is not superior, but probably just as good as anyone else. Their prices are competitive. Good Luck!
Guest
The support tickets at vidahost are normally answered within an hour if not a lot quicker! The original poster seems to be from the UK. VidaHost servers are within the UK which will be quicker loading of your website and will also help with your search engine rankings.
wwwmrtoyboxcouk
Thanks, Must say I have had my head turned since posting this as magento seems a better alternative to oscommerce. Anyone tried it? Paul
wwwmrtoyboxcouk
Magento seemed good but the slightest wrong code and it crashed straight away. Gone back to oscommerce on evohosting.
