snowygrey
When I click the new product button it brings up a fill in screen. One field is products image. If I attempt to put in a path to a directory on my website that already has all my images in it - it will not allow me to preview the item. All it does is ding at me. If I put the path in the product URL field it does not pull the picture - it creates a line on the screen that has a clickable link saying "For more information go to this website" basically. Why can't I type in a path name for my product image - why must I browse to my hard drive? Is there a fix, add-on, contribution, whatever - somewhere? I have spent about 5 hours searching these forums and have found no answer to this question. If I missed it I am sorry, but at this point I am tired. Thanks for any help. I tried to put /images/nameofpic.jpg in the field and when I click preview it dinged at me again. I did not want to download images to upload them again. That seems like a waste of time. I guess I could input all the items and then use mySQL to manually put in the path afterwards but again this seems like a long way to do something that should be simple. Thanks for your help.
