webman1200
So, I know how to install OSCommerce on Web servers, but how do I design the pages if it's running off a script? Can I design my pages in Adobe Dreamweaver?

WoodsWalker
The pages are in PHP. Many of us, like me, who are used to designing HTML pages use DreamWeaver to modify these PHP pages (after learning a little PHP so we can nose our way around). You cannot see your pages in "Design View" in Dreamweaver as you work, however, as PHP must be "parsed" by a web server in order for the resulting web page to be visible on your screen. You must post the pages to a web server and view them through a browser. Hope this helps, ~Wendy

It is also great for making changes to the osc before you upload to the web.
