jrthor2 Posted January 15, 2009 Share Posted January 15, 2009 I am putting a site together that wants to use osCommerce as their e-commerce solutions. The site they are putting together has a bunch of pages that don't have anything to do with the e-commerce portion of the site, but the design has items in the header like the how many products are in the users shopping cart and the dollar amount in their shopping cart, and the search would search the e-commerce portion of their site. Is it possible to have their "static" portion of the site and display items pertaining to the e-commerce site globally across all pages? They want things like photo albums, etc. that don't have anything to do with osCommerce. I wasn't sure if osCommerce stored this type of information in session that could be accessed sitewide, even if I'm not in the catalog portion of the site. Thanks!!
