hepcj Posted January 14, 2009 Share Posted January 14, 2009 Dear Gurus, I am having the most tremendous difficulty with OSCommerce (OSC) trying to obtain friendly URLs over multiple installations. I am using version v1 of OSC and it has a base installation with three other installations of OSC in separate directories (one for each store). The site works without friendly URLs however when copying the site to a test server and changing the configuration files, the admin area stops working and I am unable to log in. I have changed the password through the database and even tried to bypass the password all together but it has not worked. Can Ultimate SEO Urls be used to even do this or is it going to be so complicated that I might as well start with a new installation of OSC? Has anyone else out there had experience with trying to make friendly URLs work on a multi store site that may be able to share their wisdom? :angry: :blink: :unsure: Many thanks in advance.
