OMG.. Please help.. Issues with free downloads and its a LIVE store!

Something DISASTEROUS is happening, and i dont know why.. I can only HOPE that you guys might have some time to take a look.

 

I have been using AJAX attribute manager and attribute sets together successfully for some time. On sunday we did a bridal fair where we offered free pictures of brides and their families and they could log on tonight to download their free picture from our website.. Itt was the perfect marketing plan to get people to come to our website..

 

well, i added ALL of the attribute sets first and then went to add the downloadable files and all of a sudden, it will NOT SAVE!!! i used the ajax manager and clicked digital file and then the low res. option and $0.00, applied the file name to be downloaded and thats it. I clicked UPDATE and it seems as though all is fine, but when i view the page (even after a hard refresh) that download digital file option is NOT THERE!!

Ok.. made SOME headway,although i am still in emergency mode right now..

 

I am 100% sure that it has to do with the fact that the attribute (the downloadable file option) is $0.00

 

I have NO IDEA why this is happening, as i am sure that LOTS of people offer FREE attributes.. So why is THIS free attribute giving me hell?? I have tried adding the download product attribute from the attribute sets page, ajax attribute manager, and the traditional oscommerce attribute system.. NONE of them will show.

 

Oh yea, i also have that ATTRIBUTE QTY contribution... maybe that is the issue..

well, just so people who have a similar problem dont feel stuck here.. I posted the answer to issue in the ATTRIBUTES QTY support page. it was just a quick re-work of a small bit of code,but it works well not.. go there to see it.
