SteadyEdd
I have a store on a shared server account with 1&1 in the UK. Without notice they locked my database because of heavy load. I won't say the shop's at all busy so I'm surprised. Can't remember changing any admin settings recently that might have increased to database load. Does anyone have any ideas (or am I going to have to upgrade - they're suggesting a managed or dedicated server at a heck of an expense). Regards, Edward
web-project
shared server account with 1&1 in the UK they want you to move to VPS? this done is deliberately, I have seen before the same issue but with different provider. Please read this line: Do you want to find all the answers to your questions? click here. As for contribution database it's located here! 8 people out of 10 don't bother to read installation manuals. I can recommend: if you can't read the installation manual, don't bother to install any contribution yourself. Before installing contribution or editing/updating/deleting any files, do the full backup, it will save to you & everyone here on the forum time to fix your issues. Any issues with oscommerce, I am here to help you.
