Smoothing the checkout process

Hi,

 

I'm hoping you clever people can help me out. I basically want to smooth out the checkout process, I added the payment without account module, and then decided to remove the account facility altogether. So my checkout process is as follows:

 

Go to Checkout -> click 1

On the following pages we will ask you for your delivery address, delivery option and payment options etc etc. (old login screen) -> click 2

Enter personal information (old create account.php)-> click 3

Delivery Information (checkout_shipping.php) -> click 4

Confirm Invoice Adderss (checkout_payment.php) -> click 5

Order Confirmation (checkout_confirmation.php) -> click 6

 

You are then taken to paypal to make your payment (meaning you have to input all your address etc again if you don't have a paypal account!!!), which then returns you to my store.

 

Have you got any suggestions on how to smooth out the whole checkout process as it involves too many clicks and having to put your address in twice (once in my store and once in paypal) is not really acceptable!
