How do I do this, with a horizontal gradient, to the navigation bar background?

Ok here's what I'm working with:

 

TD.headerNavigation {

font-family: Verdana, Arial, sans-serif;

font-size: 10px;

background-image: url(images/navgrav.jpg);

background-attachment: scroll;

background-repeat: no-repeat;

color: #dbe5f1;

font-weight : bold;

 

This is working, except there's a vertical seam appearing in random positions on both nav bars.

 

How do I correct this?
