hobbzilla
Feed back is greatly appreciated! This site is NOT live.. any orders/customer accounts created will be deleted. http://www.reversion.us/order.php I will have my index.php page a default page that looks like the current LIVE site: http://www.reversion.com (<-- your credit card WILL get charged on this site -- NOT USING osCommerce.. using MS Site Server with a Great Plains backend.. look how slow just adding something to the cart is!) All I am waiting on is NOVA (via COSTCO member services -- cheapest I found) to get back to me my new MID (merchant ID) and then I will be processing with Authorize.net (via charge.com Authnet only sign-up -- cheapest I found. They don't have details on their site about authnet only.. but it is $99 setup 5?/txn & $15/mth much better than authorize.net $299 setup 10?/txn & $20/mth fees. Authorize.net wouldn't even match their resellers prices..)
hobbzilla
okay maybe not waiting on just the merchant account & authnet.. I still have some pages that need me to transfer over from reversion.com! http://www.reversion.us/success_stories.php Not really gonna make customers buy when the "success stories" page is blank! -DOH! Guest
using MS Site Server with a Great Plains backend.. using Great Plains, now there IS a scary prospect! :) I do a lot of work for a company who uses Great Plains for their accounting, it is the oldest, ugliest, slowest, least reliable thing I have ever seen. The version they are using runs on DOS. Of course it is probably a great application now that Microsoft have taken it over... As for your oscommerce site, it looks quite good and it certainly runs a lot better than the old one does.
hobbzilla
Okay this is just an update: Reversion.com is now LIVE. Any orders entered will be charged. And 16 hours going live we have our first order!
hobbzilla
Well that last post is now a little misleading. reversion.com was already live.. but reversion.com is now switched over to oscommerce and reversion.us & reversion.net are set as aliases for reversion.com. So, my original post about not being live is no longer valid.
