Cant access Admin area

I keep getting the following error messages when I try and enter the admin area:

Fatal error: require() [function.require]: Failed opening required 'includes/functions/database.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php5') in /homepages/45/d51003458/htdocs/jkbelectrics/catalog/admin/includes/application_top.php on line 60

 

I have only just installed this, it works ok on the catalog side but not the admin, any help would be great.
