VAT number can be added into account details etc. However I can't get it not to add tax when the purchaser is in the EU and has added a VAT number. I have tax zones for UK and EU (this one contains all the EU countries) I have 3 tax rates: EU 15% (description VAT), UK 15% (description UK VAT) and EU 0% (description Zero rate) I have tried all with priority 0 and changed priorities as well. On the final billing if it is from Europe it says "VAT + Zero rate: xxxx" If I change address to one other than UK/EU then there is no VAT added, which is correct. If I change address to UK it lists it as "UK VAT: xxx" which is also correct. What am I doing wrong? Also, what does TVA Intracom actually mean? Did you read the part about removing the comments in catalog/includes/classes/order.php and catalog/includes/modules/order_total/ot_shipping.php? I missed that first time around and not doing it fits in with the issue you are seeing. I think TVA Intracom is what the refer to as VAT in France, could be wrong.
