shipping module template?

hi all,

i am new to oscommerce.

if i have a shipping method that is not any available module,

e.g. thailand EMS post,

is there a template or a how to to make a new module,

or an explanation of all the files needed to be modified and what info the DB requires in what fields?

would save me days of going thru the code to understand what's going on.

I didn't set up my site but I did configure the EMS rates in the table method.

I just went to the post office and took a photo of the EMS domestic rates sheet (as they could not give me a copy) and used the table method. I still have to gauge what the weight of each item will be to ship (with packing and combined orders)

but so far it comes out pretty accurate. Ex. up too 100 grams is 32 bhat and then the next 250, is 37 baht.

I can not access my site now (hacked and under repair) but the table method works fine for domestic anyways.

the format is something like 32;100, (there is an example in the module)

 

Can I ask if you have an OScommerce programmer here? I used my regular webmaster but I seem to have a lot of hacking issues and I am wondering if I do not need someone more experienced with OScommerce.
