Hi germ and others, thanks for the help.

I found it in extrapages contrib. That was a contrib my partner installed ten minutes after the osc was first installed. I forgot about it totally, sorry I didn't mention it. My bad.

 

In extrapages, there is a window for adding text to the front page.

I put my animation there which was a new idea that I wanted to try, it worked but I forgot to write it down on my logbook for the contrib installs.

 

For anyone interested: Doing it through html is more straightforward but doing it through extrapages is faster and easier.

If you were using Dreamweaver you could have accomplished this in about 30 seconds by doing a search for "macromedia" and including the /catalog/ folder in the search.

 

I know you eventually found it - but I had a similar issue while trying to format a template to work with my store.
