edit front page?

want to edit my front page, not used to building in html alone.

can i use Dreamweaver somehow. or can I edit the front page with images etc somehow so I can can see the progress???

You could install the FCK editor define mainpage contribution this will allow you to edit your front page a bit more easily than via text line editing.

You will not be able to use dreamweaver to any great effect.

Once installed, you can enter Admin and edit the page direct by pasting html code

 

You could always use dreamweaver to lay out your content, and then paste the code into the provided box.

 

This will only alter the bit where the text gos thugh - you cant use a WYSIWYG editor to make changes to oscommerce layout etc.

 

You may also take a look at the STS (simple Template system) contributons. Never used them myself but they seem to suit your needs a little better.

You could install the Simple Template System (STSv4.5.8) osCommerce add-on that would allow you to edit the design of your pages using Dreamweaver.
