I have searched for an aswer but no luck. I am Using STS and want to add a single line (no content) search box to my header with an image. Is there a way to make a seperate catalog_advanced_search.php.html that I can edit the way I want it or is that not the right way to do it. I just want a single box with a search button

You have searched everywhere but the one place you SHOULD be searching...the official STS Support Thread (link in my signature below as well as in the STS User Manual).

 

This is a very simple task and has recently been discussed in the STS thread. ;)
