burt Posted January 25, 2003 Share Posted January 25, 2003 Add in a new column to MySQL customers table, approved. Put in a check to see if the person (when they are logged in) is also approved status. Make the email say "Thanksfor signing up, you will be sent further information on how to log into our store ASAP blah blah". Make a new bit in Admin for the store owner to approve them (or not). Once approved automatically send them an email to tell them they are approved and can now log in. I've not seen a contribution that does that, so you would need to amke it yourself or get adeveloper to do it. It's not difficult, but a bit complicated (IYSWIM). Ajeh Posted January 25, 2003 Share Posted January 25, 2003 I have an approval system like that done. I need to add the Admin side to it and make a waiting for approval page. As soon as I complete it I will add it to the contributions. It could be loaded now, if you are in a desperate rush, but you'd have to make the Admin and approval pages to work with this. elari Posted January 26, 2003 Share Posted January 26, 2003 install customers status 3.x it let you set in admin a default status for new customer without price and they can purchase only after you upgrade their status to allow it also offer many discount management, show price with/wo tax.... newsletters subscription, 3 level retail price and qty price ...
