kuai Posted January 2, 2009 Share Posted January 2, 2009 this is the warning message after install "Warning Warning: I am able to write to the configuration file: C:/xampp/htdocs/catalog/includes/configure.php. This is a potential security risk - please set the right user permissions on this file." i copied and pasted the catalog directory to htdocs and then created a blank database. then went through the install process which was pretty straight forward. i deleted the install file which took care of the other warning. i see no provisions for setting permissions here " C:/xampp/htdocs/catalog/includes/configure.php." could someone please help. i'm an extreme newbie and have search for 16 hours for a solution before coming here.
