germ Posted January 1, 2009 Share Posted January 1, 2009 To remove the arrows, in /catalog/includes/boxes/categories.php change this code: if (tep_has_category_subcategories($counter)) { $categories_string .= '->'; } to // removes arrow in categories box /* if (tep_has_category_subcategories($counter)) { $categories_string .= '->'; } */ BACKUP THE FILE FIRST. I really don't know what the purpose is except maybe to reduce DB queries. If you want to turn it back on, somewhere in the admin on some line dealing with the cache there is an image way to the right you can click to reset the cache.
