Joe-Glow
I have been setting up my new store using OS Commerce. I have gotten to a point where I am creating "test orders" for myself and they seem to be going well. However, now that the testing is over, I would like to complete remove these dummy orders off the system. My only choices for attributes seem to be "pending, processing or delivered". Is there anyway to cpmpletely remove these fake orders and begin the order numbering system at 1 again? Thanks, Joe
badjuju
Yes. The easiest way to do it is go to phpmyadmin. Open orders tables and clear contents - DON'T drop table. Now delete the contents from all tables beginning with 'orders'...EXCEPT orders_status.
Joe-Glow
Thanks for the help.. But what is "phpmyadmin"? Being rather new, I'm not sure... Thanks again for the help! Joe
radders
What about Edit, Delete, Invoice, and Packing Slip in admin orders!
radders
Of course just deleting the orders wouldn't start the count from 1 again afaik but do you really want your customers to know that theirs is your first order? Or maybe there is a free gift for the first 100 customers :D
Joe-Glow
Hi Radders.. in the orders section of admin, my only options showing are invoice, packing slip and back. I do not have an option for edit or delete.... Thanks! Joe
