Jack_mcs
i have just upgrade from 1.7 to 1.9 and have 2 problems. When I view the www.yeltsa.com/sitemap.php the top level categories url are like this www.yeltsa.com/-c-.html although the anchor text is present and correct. The other is when I change settings within the admin on the Page Control page is does not save my settings when i click update. Any help would be great The first is due to your url rewriter. If you are using Ultimae SEO V2.2d (recommended), then you need to update it. For any others, post a question in its support thread. I can't suggest anything for the second. This contribution is used in many shops and no one has reported that problem so it would seem to be due to some mistake in your installation or some setting on the server. chris.astley
Hi, thanks for the quick reply, i already have the lastest version installed "Ultimae SEO V2.2d", I have just checked all the files against a fresh download of the contribution and everything is ok. All the other links in the sitemap work and the categories did work on version 1.7, its only when I have installed the updates for version 1.8/1.9 that the links broke. All the other links in the sitemap work and the categories did work on version 1.7, its only when I have installed the updates for version 1.8/1.9 that the links broke. There's nothing in the code of this contribution that controls the url's. I creates the links and then the url rewriter changes them. All I can think of is that maybe the cache of Ultimate SEO needs to be cleared. I suggest going into its settings and using the uninstall option. Then refresh the shop side to re-install it. chris.astley
I have uninstalled and reset the cache and no luck. After doing this though the option to filter short words has disappeared from the admin so my urls have changed? have you any idea what this could be? Jack_mcs
I have uninstalled and reset the cache and no luck. After doing this though the option to filter short words has disappeared from the admin so my urls have changed? have you any idea what this could be? That option is built into the code so if it is missing, somethng is wrong with the installation of that contribution, which would also explain the problem with this one. Try turning off Ultimate SEO and checking the site map links. If they work, then it is a problem related with Ultimate SEO. Please ask subsequent questions regarding that in its support thread. chris.astley
Fixed it... within the file includes/classes/category_tree.php on line 46 i added a line of code back in that was in version 1.7, changed this; if ($parent_id == '0') { } else { # $category_link = $p_category_link . '_' . $category_id; $category_link = (tep_not_null($p_category_link) ? $p_category_link . '_' . $category_id : $category_id); } to this if ($parent_id == '0') { $category_link = $category_id; } else { # $category_link = $p_category_link . '_' . $category_id; $category_link = (tep_not_null($p_category_link) ? $p_category_link . '_' . $category_id : $category_id); } Not sure if this is/was the problem but fixed my problem.. ♥altoid
Jack, upgrading 1.8 to 1.9, the 2.3.1 shops are working fine, but in a 2.2 shop with configuration>sitemap seo>show related products by manufacturer set true I get a page distortion, with the right column disappearing and the boxes in the right column shifting to the bottom left. ♥altoid
On what page the distortion occur? Sorry about that...only on an individual product page. Example, select a category...fine. Pick a product from that category...that's where the issue arises. Quote I am not a professional webmaster or PHP coder by background or training but I will try to help as best I can. Jack_mcs
Sorry about that...only on an individual product page. Example, select a category...fine. Pick a product from that category...that's where the issue arises. In the product_info.php file, there are three statements loading the various sitemap modules. Try deleting one at a time to make sure which moduel the problem is in. The try adding echo '<tr><td>'; before that statement and echo </td>/tr>'; after it. Maybe that will help. Maybe that is the problem. It is working fine here in my 2.3 test shop so I can only guess it is an installation problem if it isn't the case of a template. mvanderhoff
All of a sudden the Sitemap SEO product add-ons do not work (ie: Related Products & Related Manufactures) When you click on them they do not expand. There has not been any add-ons except for new products and manufactures but no source code edits. You can take a look here - http://www.emergencyoutdoors.com/flashlights-fenix-ld10-led-flashlight-p-74.html Also the Sitemap is perfectly fine when you click on Hide / Show Products
