Guest
Hi, would appreciate any help possible on this - my product pics on all my pages look as though they are stretched, Link to my site is http://kbmfantasyfashion.com/catalog/ I have tried viewing my site on both my laptop and pc and it still looks the same. How do I recify this? My site looks cheap and unprofessional because of this and also, is there a way of adding more than one pic to an item? Any help greatly appreciated thanks in advance, Michelle
thenewfoundlie
I had the same problem because OSC was making all my images the same dimensions. I wanted the images i uploaded to be the size as I uploaded them as. If this is what you want you need to go to your admin area and there is a section about images. set both your length and width to 0 and it should correct this. Hi Barry, Is it the Small Image Width or Heading Image Width I need to change? Excuse my ignorance but fairly new to all this. Many thanks, Michelle. They look stretched now and everything else looks as I want it!! Many thanks for your help!! Michelle. There are three groups of images with default oscommerce...Heading images, Subcategory images, and Images. Set either the width or the height to avoid distortion, not both. Set in Admin under Images
Guest
There are three groups of images with default oscommerce...Heading images, Subcategory images, and Images. Set either the width or the height to avoid distortion, not both. Set in Admin under Images Hello there! I think the images you are uploading are not correct height and width. First: In the admin section go to Configuration and pictures; Set the pictures to be 100 wide and 100 high (Or 200 and 200 or 300 and 300 ect.) Second: Before you upload a new picture, use a program like Photoshop to cut your picture to a perfect square picture (width = hight); save the picture to your harddrive Third: Upload the edited (and now perfect square) picture to your webshop. If you edited your picture to be 1000px by 1000px you will still get a small picture of 100px by 100px shown on your website (that is not deformed). The only thing is that when you click on it to enlarge it, then only will you be getting the full size picture.
♥geoffreywalton
There was me thinking you had 2 choices 1. Make sure that every picture created is in the size you have defined or bigger/smaller but in the same ratio. or 2. In the admin area leave one of the dimensions blank, not zero. (Probably best to have all the heights the same.) You can see what I mean if you use the link I gave last time. How do I change this? I didn't change anything in header.php, just the pic name so not sure why this has happened.
