Stomping on the ground frustrated with attribute option type

Hi guys,

I am having some SERIOUS issues. I started by installing the ATTRIBUTE OPTION TYPE for RC2a version 3.0 - when that didn't work, i figured i would just TRY and do the last upload by the original author.. That didnt work either.. So now i'm back screwing with the RC2a version 3.0 and its driving me nutty.

Right now, i have no errors, but this is what happens.

I create a new attribute type. For instance COLOR. I type in COLOR, then choose RADIO, and then update. Then i go to the option value and create values for COLOR... Red, Blue, Green, ect ect. All of this works perfectly fine. i can even edit them!!

THEN, i go to apply them to a product.. THIS is where it gets weird.. I choose my test product, choose my option value and click insert. It inserts it with no errors what so ever, BUT the ATTRIBUTE NAME and OPTION TYPE do not show in the list!! so when i go and view my product, it shows NO attributes!!!

Also, now, with this contribution, will I not have the ability to use drop downs? because thats not an option anymore...

Thanks
