Product Options Ascending Order?

hipsoccer

Recommended Posts

when inputting the product attributes i am listing 'name' as an option. there are also number that correspond to a particular name e.g. Jones #5.

for some reason the list does not continue in order e.g. 1,2,3,4,5,6,7. instead the numbers are all over the place even though i have entered the attributed in numerical order? there isn't even a particular pattern so i am lost and can not continue as i need the options to show in order.

is there a way round this???

thanks

hi,

thanks for your reply. i have followed the instructions and have made a real mess of things!!

for a start the installation did not work, and to make matters worse after i have entered a new product and click insert, the following text appears;

1136 - Column count doesn't match value count at row 1

insert into products_attributes values (null, '29', '3', '10', '0', '+')

[TEP STOP]

i have got no idea what this means? i am guessing i have messed up the coding somewhere?

you may have gathered by now that i am a complete novice at all this.

any assistance would be much appreciated.
