JoePyler
Before certain products may be sold via a webshop, the manufacturer demands that the client needs to visit a page on his own website with some kind of "I know how the product works"-declaration. (No discussion possible about this issue, take it or leave it :( ) I guess I have to take action in the 'application_top.php' file, more precise in the procedures case 'add_product' and case 'buy_now'. I'm thinking that the script should handle the following conditions: If the "article discription" is ok according certain conditions (eg. contains certain characters/tokens) then a new window with a specific address should be opened. If the return is succesfull there should be a notice that the product is added to the basket. Who can help me out?

JoePyler
Is there no one who can help me? Still no one? And strangely I'v seen it working on an - I think - oscommerce base website. I'm reffering to the site: www.baby-dump.nl and one of the products can be found when surfing to this page http://www.baby-dump.nl/index.php?page=pro...k=626&m=
Guest
there's a contribution for terms & conditions which may be suitable - http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/5750
JoePyler
there's a contribution for terms & conditions which may be suitable - http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/5750 Thanks for your reply. I understand your suggestion (already had it downloaded). The major difference with this addon and what we need is that we need the action after the "buy now" button has been hit. Just like the example mentioned.
JoePyler
Seems that I'm not the only one with this same problem... http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=263450
Guest
A little lateral thinking here - set a product attribute of 'I have read & accept the How the product works page'?
burt
It's not hard, but it's not straightforward. Something that has never been done before needs to have bespoke coding made for it. There are only a handful such coders available. Will one of them do this for no cost? Un-likely.
