Can i open an external page/url between header and footer ?

Hi all,

 

To start with i have searched the topics - and every result was about database integration and addons for shared database, i don't want that !!

 

All i want is to find out if i can have my phpbb which is running on another server and another database open inside my osc between header and footer.

 

i know that visitors to the forum will have to register there too - but i just want the forum to melt in with my shop, so users can jump back to the osc when finished, currently they would have to leave the site with the osc to go to the forum site, but if the integration described above is possible it would be all i could wish for..

Copy about_us.php to create ppbb.php.

 

Make a link to ppbb.php, probably in /includes/boxes/information.php

 

Edit ppbb.php to display your bb.

Thanks ! - It sounds like a really good and simple solution, i will try that.. - but it wont remove the infoboxes if im right ? - how do i get it to do that so it has the whole page width ?

I got the shortcut to work - and copied about_us.php and renamed to phpbb.php, and it opens fine.. all ok - but i have absolutely no idea of what to do to get the phpbb.php to open the external forum. i can't code anything - can someone please help me with the code for a php page to load an external site inside the "frame" its running in ?
