"Easy Meta Tags for SEO 1" problem

I've installed "Easy Meta Tags for SEO 1"

There doesn't appear to be a support thread for this contribution, so maybe this will become it.

 

I've tested this with a Metatag checker on

but it only displays the default title and descriptions as configured in the metatags.php file.

 

I've tested the authors site pages and the titles and descriptions appear correctly.

 

Google is picking up the pages via sitemap contribution, I just now have dozons of pages that all appear the same.

 

Any suggestions what I might have done wrong or where to look??
