Catalog Not Showing

My site at http://www.westcentralohiocommunications.com/flexshop was working great until today. The whole thing just disappeared. I have checked all dbase connections, the admin area still functions normally. The page that shows is just a plain page, no errors or hints to the problem, the index.php and all that have not been changed, I even reuploaded the entire site from a backup performed last week. Can someone take a look and maybe advise as to what may cause this issue?

Your store shows up the first time, but when refresh it then is blank. if you clear you cache it will show up again, but just once.

I am not sure why, but it might help you troubleshoot it more, it did give me a stylesheet error on line 560

.moduleRowOver { background-color: #D7E9F7; cursor: pointer; cursor: hand; }

I dont know if that is the reason or not

All right, I dug around and found the issue. Someone removed a product from the store, this caused that product_status in the products table to have a value of 0. That is what was causing it, if you change the value back to 1 it works, though the product shows up, if you change it to 2 it also works and the product does not show up. I don't know the issue as to why it is doing that but at least it is fixed for now. If I dig into it more I will update this topic unless someone else can shed some light onto it.

Thanks for the help.

  • 3 weeks later...

Ok, it was fixed for about 2 days then it crashed again with the same problem as the original. This time I pointed it to a different database and copied the pertinient info out of the original and it worked just fine for a little over a week. Now it is down again, does anyone have any thoughts on this?
