Customer Discount Not quite right....

Hi

I just installed the Customer_Discount_V1.1, and it seems to be working great..

Until you add a 100% discount on something with a value of $9.95

This is what happens on checkout confirmation..

------------------------

 

Sub-Total: $9.95

Customer Discount: $10.00

Total: $-0.05

-----------------------

 

I have no clue why it is doing this..

Decimal places is set to 2

 

Can't think what else to check

 

Any suggestions?

it look like a field not properly set to manage enough decimal and/or a rounding problem...

Make sure you have a % sign in the Discount amount when you set up your Discount in Admin. If it has %, it uses %; if it has no %, it uses straight currency amount.

ok.. I checked the admin section. The discount amount always shows 100.00 and not 100%. If that makes a difference.

Select something from the Artist section (they are the ones that are causing the problems) at $9.95 and proceed to the checkout section.

The only payment model I am using is PayPal IPN, so dont go any further than the checkout page..

shouldn't the user have to enter the correct code to get the discount?

 

i installed it, and if i leave the field blank and go to the confirmation page, the discount has been applied????
