New install, partial images showing some no images

Hi,

 

Tried to install twice. no known errors. I can be anywhere from admin or home page and the buttons/ product images are either there, half there or not at all. Its consistent throughout the entire site I uploaded.

 

 

The images from my install, do not look like the ones from the Solutions screen shot page.

 

If i look at the gif locally, they are fine. If I go to the image direct from a webpage its all garbled just like in oscommerce pages. Generally you can see about a 1/4 of the image, some more some less.

 

I uploaded for instance banner.gif and looks great on my local pc, once uploaded using FileZilla something happens. Server is running PhP 5.1 I think..

 

Any input would be great.. Thank you.

 

Oh, I just noticed, the banner file is 8957kb during upload it changes to 8931kb, looses some 26kb during the upload.

Think I got it.. I never zipped the site before upload. I grabbed the images folder, zipped, uploaded it and unzipped and it looks good so far.

 

This way the files remain the same size..
