jerrymc
hi, i'll be as specific as possible, this needs fixing asap. there are 2 issues: 1. when i try to delete a category thumbnail image via admin panel, it won't let me. Are you deleting the category or just trying to change the thumbnail? Deleting the category will delete the TB, otherwise, you need to replace the TB with the one you want to use. 2. when i upload new images, or change current images, they appear as broken, even inside the catalog area of the admin panel. What do you mean "broken"? Do they appear as a white box with a red X? If so, you have a path problem. i.e. the path statement that identifies where your image is, in your file structure. does anyone know the solution to this? i've spent hours trying to figure this out, with no luck. help much appreciated. give us more specific info & someone here can probably help. jimsta_2
1. When I try to delete a category thumbnail image in the admin panel, an error pops up saying: "File not uploaded" when a file is, I can't delete it. 2. When I upload new images, they appear as red x's, both on the website and the admin panel.
jimsta_2
OK, if I upload an image via the admin control panel, and use that image for a new product, it won't work. Do I need to upload new images via FTP? Are there any settings that I need to change?

If you right click the box where the image should be and then click on properties, does the location of the image match where the image is stored in your images file.
