Rebecca Rose
Hi FIRST: In installation process where it asks for SQL user, pass and name, the only acceptable situation is user:root pass:(blank) how can i set a password for connecting to SQL DB? I tried to change it in both configure.php files, but couldn't connect after that SECOND: I made some changes to the STS i'm using and now i want to give it to my firend so she can use it too. How can i give her a raw STS (without any products in it, or probably without any passwords (like the same configure.php file)) Thanks all

FIMBLE
Hiya, you mean clear the database of products? Rebecca Rose
Suppose she want to install this shop and she want to use it like when i used it for the first time (Without any entry) it's cleared, i think !!
FIMBLE
You could repackage it as a new osc. add in new configure.php files to catalog / includes and admin /includes add the install folder again and install it. Im not sure about sts tho does it have any extra SQL updates? Sometimes you're the dog and sometimes the lamp post [/url] My Contributions
