Different payment options for different countries?

Hello,

 

I want to add a few payment options to my site, but I don't want them all visible in every country. For example there is a country wide banktransfer within Hungary, but you can't use it from outside, so I want to show this option only for people, who 1. are in Hungary (maybe based on IP) or 2. use the hungarian language on the site.

 

I tried to set up different TAX zones and set up payment options based on tax zones, but it didn't work.

 

Because my store is located in Hungary, now I have to allow every payment solution for the zone "hungary", so peole see them at all.

 

I am in Austria and I have set up an austrian zone, to try if I can see that payment option if it is set up for hungary only, but the funny thing is, I can see everything from austria that is in the zone hungary, but can't see payment options in the zone "austria".

 

Now I have to write everywhere: "only available in hungary", "only available in germany" etc. It's a workaround but not really a solution... :-(

 

I hope, it makes sense, what I am trying to say. :-)

 

Now to my original question: is there a possibility to set up the payment options only for certain areas? If yes, how.

 

And what the heck are those tax zones then?

I see the payment methods based on my country I have chosen in the registration procedure. Thanks for reply!

And remember delivery charges and taxes are calculated using the charges/rates applicable to the delivery address.

I will be careful by setting up the delivery charges.

 

In Hungary you have to pay 20% of Taxes on every taxable goods, so I think, I have to charge all customers with 20%, no matter where they are from, because I have to make my taxes in Hungary. Right?
