If so, and your email server is not on the localhost, then your host may need to add your domain to the /etc/remotedomains file and remove it from /etc/localdomains in order for your emails to be sent. We ran into this problem on our dedicated linux server with cPanel. Maybe this will help. Otherwise, have you checked your error logs for php errors when trying to use sendmail? Guest
yes I am on shared host using Cpanel? but still mine emails are not working properly....mine server admin has send me a script and ask me to copy that...nw where to copy that script neither he knows nor me  so do u have any idea where to place that code I just found out something that might help some people that are having trouble with email sending - I have built several OSC stores, and the email always worked except on one site - I had the store email address as upper and lower case (MyStore@mystore.com) rather than lower case (mystore@mystore.com) - it was as simple as that - so check your email address and it might be the solution.
