badjuju
Just wanted to find out if there were hidden charges. I went to their site and noticed some of the resellers offered free setup ($195) savings, 24 cents per Transaction, and there are all these fees I have no clue what they mean. Does anyone know what the deal is? Is this $195 discount just a smokescreen or do I have to pay some other exhorbitant monthly fee. I just want to be able to accept cards online - don't mind if I have to manually process them via a webpage but will be nice if all that stuff could be done automatically. Please advise. badjuju
I was asking about their actual services, not oscommerce implementation. That thread deals with technical issues.
Huy
I recently signed up for AuthorizeNet through a reseller. If you look around, you will find that the application/sign up fees vary from one reseller to another. Look around, and look for the lowest rates. I got mine for with $0 application fee, 2.29%, $0.30 per transaction. Monthly fees would total around $10.00/statement, and $25 monthly min., $10/month for the gateway, and $20 annual fee. Authorizenet is one of the more well known processors...so check around for the good deals. If you can't find one for free, let me know, I can refer you to one. I was able to apply and have my account set up in 3 days. The integration however, with OSC took me about a week or so, with calls back and forth with my webhost. Anyhow, got it to work, and everything is A-OK!
