Brandburnmedia
Hey guys, For some reason on one of my sites that have ecommerce when I install it, it never prompts me for a Username and Password to create, and when I go to my admin page it just goes right into the Administration page, so anyone can get into it. My other site I run has an Administration account and prompts you to login before getting into the administration area. Why is this....I don't like the fact that my administration page is so easy to get into.

Brandburnmedia
So to have it require you to login to enter administration area, upgrade to 2.2 Milestone? If that's correct where can I figure out how to do this, probably can just search it.

As Nic pointed above, you are using MS2 version of oscommerce. MS2 doesn't have an admin login screen. Htaccess is used to secure admin. Login screen for osc admin started with RC1. If you want to secure your admin with a login screen, password protect your admin folder thru your webhost control panel. You may also want to search the contribution section. There are some written for this purpose also. Regarding upgrading, check >> this
