Guest Posted January 23, 2003 Share Posted January 23, 2003 Hi have just setup a site for someone and am having bad problems with shipping. It has the free shipping module installed and have now managed to disable it, and just want per item shipping at ?2 per item. But have set this and nothing happens especially when I go to order it keeps getting stuck on the same page. Site is www.cheekychicks-lingerie.co.uk Any help much appreciated. Guest Posted January 24, 2003 Share Posted January 24, 2003 I disabled the Free Shipping mod in the Modules/Shipping Category. And then disabled everything else except for the Per Item Shipping, then in the per item shipping I entered the price of ?2 per item. Hope this helps. ♥Loaded Commerce Posted January 24, 2003 Share Posted January 24, 2003 I noticed there is nothger place free shipping could be enabled, under the modules, order totals edit the shipping options. also check the database table Configuration, and remove any record that have to do with free shipping. free shipping by nature will override any other shipping mod. so you per item may be setup right, but any lingering free shipping settign will make it dissapear. Guest Posted January 24, 2003 Share Posted January 24, 2003 I have modded some files and have managed to get it to display shipping, but for some reason, I enter the amount of ?2 per item in the per item section. Thankyou soooo much for this little piece of heavenly insite!! :D I had been tearing my hair out over Easter trying to figure out how to stop free shipping! I had offered it as a special deal for the month of March and thought I'd turned shipping back to norm. at the start of April.... still got orders with free shipping! Bugger! Amazing what helps someone in 2003 can then keep helping others years later! The true beauty of forums. :thumbsup: Ahh, time for breaky!
