PhpNurd Posted December 10, 2008 Share Posted December 10, 2008 When I try to logon as admin /iadmin i get Unable to connect to database server! error I had used database of my previous site and created a new blank db on new domain n imported the db thro phpmyadmin THen just changed the user , pwd db name etc. I need to get into the admin area. ABCommerce! Posted December 10, 2008 Share Posted December 10, 2008 If your catalog shows up correctly then it is your admin/configure.php file. If neither show up then; In PHPMyAdmin create DB, then create user, then give user ALL permissions for DB. Make sure you do all 3 steps. And check both configure.php files.
