Guest
I am testing out the product to see if I can use it in a new project. Version 2.2, snapshot-20030120. Overall, Amazing! Having problems with the modules, though. In the Admin interface, if I click on any of the three modules listed in the left hand menu, all I get in the main portion of the screen is: Module Directory: /catalog/includes/modules/payment/ if I click on Payment. Module Directory: /catalog/includes/modules/shipping/ if I click on Shipping. I do not get the chart with the Filename, Status, or Action table entries. No filenames, no red or green dots. All of the module files are in the /catalog/includes/modules/payment/ or /catalog/includes/modules/shipping/ folders. All of the language files are in place. I haven't modifed anything - I just copied all of what I extracted from the archive into the web folder. I can't find anything about this situation in the forums. Everyone seems to have no trouble if they just have the module file in the appropriate module folder and the appropriate language file in the appropriate language folder. Oh, by the way - running on Windows 2000 Pro SP3, mysql 3.2.3.54, php 4.3.0, IIS 5. The web folder is a virtual directory off of the default web site. I get to it with the address http://localhost/tep/catalog or http://localhost/tep/admin. Please reply soon! Thank you! Tom
Guest
After reading another pretty much unrelated post, I got a small clue. So then I totally uninstalled the program. Then I used the installation scripts in the catalog/install directory to create and populate the database and set the configuration files. The trick was to put the admin directory in the catalog directory, contrary to what the pages in the Docuentation folder tell you to do (they say to put both catalog and admin in the root directory).
