Easy Populate - Remove Items

Dear All,

 

I have used Easy Populate to fill my store with stock. As time has passed, I now need to remove 100's of items from various categories. I have a new spreadsheet of items I want in the shop with the obsolete items removed. So I used EP to export my catalog into a CSV file, removed the items no longer for sale and have since been trying to upload the new file.

 

If I completely empty the shop, it removes everything, including the current category layout. When I upload the new spreadsheet, the items are added but the categories are not recreated.

 

If I upload the spreadsheet with all the existing stock still in the shop, the process doesn't remove the items not listed in the spreadsheet.

 

Both ways, It means I have tonnes of work to do to correct the shops items. I currently have 2600 items in my shop, and wish to remove about 800 of them, please advise as to the quickest way to do this.

Have you tried setting v_status?

 

Do you have categories in your upload file?

 

What version are you running?

 

What are the settings?

 

Forget it, read the EP documentation on how to ask for help and follow that? :-)
