Need ability to add setup fee per item and option

I need to be able to add setup fees. For example, if someone buys 10 pieces or 100

pieces there is always a $10 setup fee. No one would ever buy only 1 piece.

 

Also, the items will have options which can also have setup fees. For example, if

someone buys printed matter to go along with the item, let's say it costs $1 per but there

is also a $30 setup fee.

 

I could group the products per quantity (Ex: 10 pieces: $20, 25 pieces: $35) but it is

often that someone would need 30 or 90 instead of 25, 50, or 100 and it would be really

awkward adding all the options.

 

There was a previous thread on this but I don't think there was a solution.

set it up in product attributes

 

with a setup fee & no other option

 

then any other options set up more attributes

I don't quite understand. Won't that multiply the setup fee by the quantity?

I have the field for it ... but have not added it to the Attributes Sorter and Copier yet, for one time charge attributes per product.

 

I won't be able to look at this until the weekend to finish it and then get it into a contribution.

 

I have it working on one of my test sites but need a few more tweaks to it if you are not in a major rush.

Sure I can wait. I already got your contrib. but it was a bit complicated to

install 'cause I've never used mysql. I'll learn a bit more about it in the meantime.
