tmac2627
I have a client that I owns a previously developed os commerce site. What he would like is the ability to have a "Test Site" that is a replication of the live environment. He wants to be able to play with category changes, product changes, view them in the test site then authorize committing them to the live environment. I just want to know is the feasibly possible? I'm pretty sure its possible as far as proofing theme changes, but when it involves anything that touches the DB (description fields, products, categories, etc) I dont think that is possible correct? Quick insight would be greatly appreciated.
Kanie
You could set up a test environment in another directory that uses a different database. Any or all approved database changes could then be exported from the test environment and imported to the live store with phpMyAdmin.
