Guest
Hi all, Getting a really puzzling area on my test server http://www.mygeekshop.com/v2/catalog/default.php When adding the product I include the small, medium and large images, but when viewing them I can only see the small and large images and not the medium image. Something I am doing wrong in the admin panel? Let me know :-) Cheers, James
mthierfelder
Not sure, I just installed the 3 different sizes of product images MOD. It installed fine, but now none of my medium, or large images show up. Just a bunch of broken links. The small ones do show up in the 'Reviews' box for instance. Puzzling.... mikeewart
I noticed that if I go in and make a change to an item, the medium picture goes away and the small one gets stretched out. As long as I re-add the med. pic with the changes, it works fine.
Guest
Still can't work this out... did what you said and still no where to be found. Is this a bug I dont know about?
Guest
I'm having the same problem. I get the thumbnail and the large image to show up, but can't get the medium size image on the "product_info.php" files to show. When I look at the source from the browser, it only shows src="images/" I've tried uploading a few more times but the same problem. Also, I've noticed that evertime I upload the image from the admin panel, the ownership is incorrect. I tried "chown" and changed the owner and group for the file and the directory, but any new images are not getting the proper ownership. Even after changing the ownership, I still get the missing image on the browser. Any thoughts?
jswan
Hi: Just spent the last 2 hours trying to fix to this problem. Found a forum thread with the answer.http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/viewtopic.php...%20med&start=10 Just gave it a shot, and worked like a charm. Good luck. Guest
Let me clarify - I am using the loaded 4 version from Ian Wilson (phesis.co.uk) with Big images installed. Did the fix (changing p.products_mimage to p.products_mediumimage and got errors galore and could not get it to open up :( Any other tips?
jswan
Ah. Sorry about that. The contribution I am using is called Small, Medium, and Large images by Christopher Miller. The downloaded file is called 3 sizes of product images. I put this in place, and it works great (now that I fixed the code error). It creates three image upload textfields in the admin. If you put the three images there, then all works fine. If you only upload one image, though, then you get broken links. If you can't get the other going, maybe this will work for you. Here's the link: http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contri...ions,695/page,9 Also, if you want to see how it works, you can check my test site: http://www.virtuallyunique.com/test/catalo...log/default.php Just click on one of the products. If you click right away you'll see the broken links on the rainforest plate since I haven't yet uploaded the two larger images (my server network was down last night). However, all three images for the bamboo rod are in place and work well. Good luck, Jason
Guest
Hi Jason, No - no matter what I do it still doesnt show the image and appears as a loose link. However on the list and large image - they both appear. Just the product info page is causing me problem. Where would now be the best place to start? How can you have a shop with no working images?
